Hunter Cox is a trial lawyer and represents clients in high-stakes commercial disputes across Texas, with a track record of delivering exceptional results in complex litigation. He is known for his strategic mindset, thorough case preparation, and relentless advocacy—whether in the courtroom, arbitration proceedings, or at the negotiating table.
Hunter’s practice spans a wide range of civil litigation matters, including business torts, shareholder and partnership disputes, fiduciary litigation, and real estate and construction conflicts. His clients include real estate developers, closely held companies, corporate executives, and private investors across industries such as construction, private equity, manufacturing, and technology.
Over the course of his career, Hunter has secured favorable outcomes in multi-million-dollar disputes, including an eight-figure settlement in a commercial litigation matter and a jury verdict of over $1.7 million in a fraud case recognized as one of the Top 100 Verdicts in Texas in 2019. He has also obtained substantial results in shareholder litigation, legal malpractice,
construction defect, and civil litigation matters, as well as successfully defending business clients in cases involving high reputational or financial exposure.
A native of Arlington, Texas, Hunter brings a grounded, client-focused approach to litigation. He combines deep legal knowledge with a practical understanding of business risk, allowing him to advise clients both in and out of the courtroom.
